Most of the people I know are mentally deranged. This might come as a shock to most of you, but most of the people you know are mentally deranged, even you. In fact the only difference between a same man and an insane man is that the one who is insane simply says everything that passes through his mind.
A few years ago I remember seeing my sister's YM status : "I am a pink elephant". That made me wonder what was she thinking when she wrote that. What makes us think these kind of analogies in broad day light ?
Because in this case the subject is my sister, and we do share some genes (assuming I am not adopted), I assumed the elephant was just an expression of her childish mind, a joke perhaps or just a way of attracting attention. But what if that was not the case ? What if she really thought she was a pink elephant ?
In this case the obvious conclusions are :
1. She is colorblind
There are no pink elephants, as far as I know and surely as far as my sister knew.
2. She is lonely or ignorant
The fact that she cannot distinguish a human beeing from an elephant only shows that she has never been in contact with other humans before, or never really bonded with other people.
3. She is delusional
Consumption of alcohol, drugs or even food in large quantities can lead to a state of lightheadedness.
4. She is lying
Although aware of the fact that she is not an elephant, she tries to convince everybody else that she is right and they are wrong.
From my previous experiences I know that there is no absolute truth. The truth is always composed of the famous "gray area", nor black, nor white. So truth is that my sister is a bit colorblind, lonely, delusional, and a liar. This raises a serious problem, as the only type of person that would lie, take drugs / drink alot of alcohol and is usually alone, is a criminal. Think about it. A drug dealer has to lie alot, event to himself. Alcohol and drug consumption are common in this line of work and regular doses of hallucinogenic drugs can lead to more than just colorblindness. I am sure you all know that people in the drug business never act alone, so she must be part of a larger organisation or at least related to one. To find out which "rank" she holds we must look closely at the YM status. The sentence itself has to be a signal of some sort. Any encoded signal must contain the message, the recipient and the source.
The source : "a pink elephant".
The recipient : anyone in her YM contact list online at the time (not so important right now)
The message : "I am"
Looking closer at the source we can deduct that she is not part of the organisation but rather closely related to it, codename "pink elephant". So she is one of many because she is "a" pink elephant not "the" pink elephant.
The message itself is related to the source. Maybe she was ready to do something, or she had already finished doing it. We might never find out.
Conclusion : My sister is mentally deranged.
Note: This might explain some of her weird behaviour in the past. More data required for further analysis.

The midget theory
In every day life we encouter many things that do not make sence acording to our internal brain mechanism. Most of them are usualy related to technology, basic mechanics, human relations, intuition, etcetera. On the other hand we have not problem accepting the usual stuff like : basic needs (eating, breathing, sleeping), religion, life and death.
I always wondered if there is a way to understand both at the same time with no rules or methods. This is how I came up with "The midget theory".
Imagine that understanding the structure of an atom could be as simple to understanding religion. Here's one very idiotic way to do that :
1. Religion : I exist because somewhere, there is "something" all powerfull, all knowing that dictates how the world goes round. In reality the only thing that I can be sure of (although it might not be entirely true) is that I exist. Therefor I exist because I exist. Everything that is not me will now be know as "the midget" (or the short version : M). As soon as I interact with anything else besides me, that thing will not be part of M.
At this point you probably realised that anything we can see, touch, smell, taste is not part of M. But what about everything else ? Pure logic dictates that there is more out there then we know. Well that is the midget.
So I = I + M. I + M = I + M, I = I but M != M (in the same way as infinity != infinity ).
For those of you who do not understand the above this translates to :
I exist because these is a "god", therefor I must believe that there is a "god".
I <- M => I -> M => I <=> M => I <=> I
This results in something that some of you might consider troubling :
I exist because I believe AND I believe because I exist.
In fact that is exactly the way the human brain works. There are no open connections in the neural network. Everything loops back into itself, so it's pretty easy to see how religion could be understood so easily.
2. The atom : If you take a piece of paper and cut it in half as many times as you can, until you cannot do it any more, you would discover the atom. Regardless of what any school teacher, or science magazine might tell you, that small piece of paper, that you cannot cut any more, is the atom. You can hold it in your hand, put it next to other "atoms" and do pretty much whatever you want with it.
Question : If you put two "atoms" on top of each other, what do you call the space between them ?
Answer : The midget.
So if the space between the atoms is M and the atoms is A then :
A + A = 2A
A + M + A = 2A + M
But any atom has to have some space around it so :
A = A + M => (A + M) + M + (A + M) = 2A + M => 2A + 3M = 2A + M
=> M = 3M
Any atom cannot exist without the space around it so M != 0, but as many Ms you add, you still have one M.
So the atom's existence is determined by the space around it (M): A <- M, and the space around it is observed only when you look at the atom : A -> M
Therefor : A <=> M -> A => A <=> A
Conclusion :
The atom exists because I can hold it in my hand AND I exist because I am made of atoms.
The main ideea behind the midget theory came to me when I thought : What if I were to look through a microscope and see a midget. This is of course absurd, but I haven't found a way to explain myself why it is absurd. It just felt that way right from the start.
The truth is that even though the midget might not exist, he still makes the world go round.
Note: The calculations might be a bit absurd, then again that's the point of it all.
